The Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue Logistics Service Center is a 45,000 square foot conversion of an existing tilt-up concrete warehouse that functions as the operations and maintenance hub for the District’s Fire Stations.
The flexible industrial space is designed to meet “Essential Facility” standards, meaning the building’s structure has been designed to allow the station to remain in operation following a major seismic event or other disaster. The building is a unique hybrid of the existing tilt-up concrete walls reinforced with steel bracing and a fully braced roof. It also has full back up power facilities.
